IRWIN Died at Tipton Home Today of Diphtheria This morning at 7:50 o'clock, after an illness of only four days with diphtheria, Mrs. Dessa V. Irwin, whose maiden name was Keyes, was born at Pine Grove Mills, Centre county, February 3, 1881. On June 21, 1911, at Altoona, she was united in marriage with E. P. Irwin, who with three daughters, Geneva, Helen and Laura, survive to mourn her death. Mrs. Irwin had been a respected resident of Tipton the past twenty- two years. She was a kind and devoted wife and mother and will be greatly missed in the home circle and in the community in which she resided for so many years. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church of Tipton, the Ladies' Auxiliary No. 91 of the B. of L. F. and E. and the Dames of Malta No. 178. Private funeral services will be conducted at the grave at Charlottesville by Rev. L. E. Wilson. Tyrone Daily Herald, Tyrone, Pa., January 8, 1932
