Wednesday, January 24, James Irwin, a former resident of this city and at one time employed as a freight conductor on the middle division of the Pennsylvania railroad, dropped dead in Chicago, Ill., of heart failure. He leaves a wife - Mrs. Alice Irwin - and six children residing at 223 Seventh avenue, this city. Deceased was aged 57 years and was employed as a conductor on the Chicago, Western and Indiana railroad. He was interred at Chicago. Besides the relatives named above he leaves the following brothers and sisters: Arch Irwin, of Bald Eagle Furnace; Samuel Irwin and Susan, wife of Benjamin Boyer, of Bellwood, and Emma, wife of John S.
