All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ ORVILLE JUETTE ISENBERG Well known Williamsburg World war veteran, residing at 712 West Second street, died Saturday morning at 9:15 at the United States Veterans hospital at Aspinwall, death being attributed to a complication of ailments which had their origin in the army. He was a member of the 110th infantry, 28th division, and was wounded while in action in France in 1918 and lost an arm. Mr. Isenberg was a son of Albert and Nancy Isenberg, both now deceased, and was born at Cove Forge on May 28, 1892. On June 26, 1918, he was united in marriage with Carrie R. Russell in Altoona, by Rev. Isaac Stern. Surviving are his wife and one son and two daughters, Juette, Aline Frances and Janie May Isenberg, all at home, and one brother and two sisters, Millard Isenberg and Mrs. Luther Allender of Williamsburg and Mrs. Charles Wagner of Williamsburg, R.D. He was of the Brethren faith and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Bonner-Sollenberger post, American Legion, in Williamsburg.
