JACKSON Of 500 Twenty-fifth avenue, died this morning at 4 o'clock at his home after a brief illness. He was born in Akersville, Fulton county, Sept. 12, 1872, a son of James R. and Martha Hanks Jackson. He married Jennie Yohn May 20, 1896, and they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary three years ago. Mr. Jackson was a retired machinist from the Juniata erecting shop, retiring in 1937 after more than 38 years of service. Surviving are his wife, five children, Cecil Jackson of Akron, John K. and Paul L. of Altoona, Robert R. of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Earnest Summers of Juniata; 15 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two brothers and one sister, H. E. Jackson of Eldorado, Philip of Antioch, Calif., and Mrs. Hagley Stewart of Somerset. Mr. Jackson was a member of Fairview Methodist church and I.O.O.F. 1059 of Altoona.
