All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ HENRY FRANCIS JACKSON A retired flagman of the Middle division, P.R.R., died at his home, 911 Third avenue, Juniata, yesterday at 6.30 p.m. He was born in Philmore, Centre county, Feb. 9, 1868, a son of John and Anna (Pennington) Jackson. He retired from the company Sept. 1, 1933, as a leverman at the passenger station, Altoona. Surviving are his widow, Jennie (Clark) Jackson; a son, Earl, Washington, D.C.; two daughters, Mrs. Ross Shuss, Juniata, and Mrs. Helen Campbell, Steubenville, O.; six grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Calvin Robbins, Tyrone. Mr. Jackson was a member of the First Methodist church of Juniata for many years, and of the Lamberson Bible class. He was also a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows of Stormstown, for more than fifty years; and the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen, No. 174. Friends will be received at the Mauk and Yates funeral home after 7 p.m. today. JACKSON - Funeral services for Henry Francis Jackson, 911 Third avenue, Juniata, will be held from the Mauk and Yates funeral home, Juniata, Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of Rev. H.
