JACOBY - Mrs. Florence B., 73, 1041 Jacoby Street, died morning of June 
21, 1960, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Rosella Samo, Dayton, Ohio. 
Born in Blair County June 20, 1887, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel 
Burkett. Preceded in death by husband, Carl Edward, in 1948, and two 
sisters. Survived by these children: Samuel, 230 Rodgers Avenue; Alvin 
E., 72 Boltz Street; Roy, 1041 Jacoby Street; Wilson, 1059 Jacoby 
Street; Earl, 112 Donald Lane; Carl E., 1040 Pike Street; Mrs. Mary 
Rhoades, Dayton, Ohio, and Mrs. Rosella Samo, mentioned; also 30 
grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Member of Walnut Grove Church 
of Brethren. Friends received after 2 p.m. Thursday at Geisel Funeral 
Home until 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Services will be held at 11 a.m. 
Saturday in the Albright Church of the Brethren, Roaring Spring, Rev. 
Clyde Carter. Interment, church cemetery.
