He was born July 12, 1950 in Lenore, Mingo Co., WV, the son of Thomas and Gladys Jewell Jewell. He is survived by three sisters: Carole Manzel of Ridgefield, NJ; Linda Delude of Bear, DE and Margaret, wife of Charles Watts of Huntingdon, WV and a long time companion Lydia Booker of Tyrone. He was an over-the-road truck driver for Transatlantic Refrigerated Lines of Pittston, PA. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in Vietnam during the Vietnam war where he received the Vietnam Service Medal with two campaign stars. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose No. 25. Private funeral service and interment will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no public visitation. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home.
