Lofgren, died at his late residence, Seminole, Ala., July 23, of paralysis, aged 75 years, 11 months and 4 days. Mr. Johansen had been ailing for some time but had only been bedfast for two weeks. He lived retired on his farm in Seminole and was of a quiet, unassuming disposition and was loved by everyone that knew him. Previous to moving to Alabama eight years ago he lived in Pittsburg and was well known there. He was born in Elfsborg, Farglande, Sweden, August 19, 1843, and leaves his wife, Mrs. Hilda Johnson Johansen, formerly of Everett, two sons and one daughter - Earl Leroy, of Altoona; Clement Walker, of Seminole, Ala., and Mrs. Ada Lofgren, of Llyswen; also a grandchild of Seminole, Ala.
