BEATA LOUISE JOHNSON

Widow of Ben John Johnson, died at the home of a daughter Mrs. Calvin 
Noel, 1318 Washington Avenue, Tyrone, at 7:30 o'clock yesterday morning 
of ailments incident to her advanced years. She was born in Sweden on 
September 23, 1847 but had resided in Tyrone for forty-nine years. 
surviving are two sons and three daughters, Adolph Johnson of East 
Orange, N.J., Martin of Houtzdale, Mrs. Olivia Nordberg of Philipsburg, 
Mrs. Charlotte Lindquist of New York city, Mrs. Noel; one step- 
daughter, Mrs. Jennie Anderson of Vail; twenty grandchildren and twelve 
great-grandchildren.  Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Swedish Lutheran 
church of Houtzdale where funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock 
Thursday afternoon.  Interment will be made in the Odd Fellows cemetery 
in Houtzdale.
