JOHNSON Of 146 Eisner Ave., Bridgeville, died at 7:30 p.m. yesterday, April 19, 1971, at Petticoat Junction Nursing Home, Juniata, after a brief illness. He was born Sept. 27, 1901, in Kingsport, Tenn., a son of Hugh N. and Sisie A. Johnson and married Rossetta Evans, who died in December 1962. Surviving are a son, Richard E. of Juniata; seven brothers and sisters, Kermit R. in Florida, C.D. of Morgantown, W.Va., Mrs. Ohlene Bower of Harrisburg, Mrs. Earl Rhoades of Liverpool, Mrs. Nell Shores of Dauphin, Mrs. Bessie Layne of Mechanicsburg and Mrs. Geneva Tomlinson of Greenville, Tenn., and six grandchildren. Mr. Johnson was a retired state employee. He was a member of the Lafayette Lodge, F&AM, Pittsburgh and a member of the United Methodist Church of Federal. Friends will be received in the Mauk & Yates funeral Home from 6 to 10 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday. Altoona Mirror, Tuesday, April 20, 1971
