She had been ill six weeks. She was born in Claysburg July 10th, 1915, and is survived by her parents, and five sisters and a brother: Margaret, Flora, Grace, Ellen, Thomas and Mary. She was a member of the Lutheran Sunday school. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the late home in charge of Rev. F. C. Schroder, Lutheran pastor. Burial at Reformed cemetery. Altoona Tribune, Tuesday Morning, March 11, 1919 CLAYSBURG. Nellie, the little daughter of Dr. and Mrs. C. O. Johnston, whose illness we have noted repeatedly, died Sunday evening. She had Had been a sufferer from some heart or lung trouble for some weeks and even though death is sad, especially when the tender flowers are thus ruthlessly plucked from us, yet to the father, who realized that the case was hopeless, it did not come as a shock. The funeral was conducted from the home of the bereft family on Tuesday. These good people have the sympathy of a wide circle of friends. Altoona Tribune, Wednesday Morning, March 12, 1919
