At 10 o'clock yesterday morning, Mr. Price M. Johnson died at his residence, No. 921 Eighth avenue, after an illness of about one week, the result of a severe cold, which terminated in pneumonia. Mr. Johnson bore his sufferings uncomplainingly and was ready for the summons when they came. The deceased was born in Centre county, Pa., March 25, 1832, and was consequently aged 58 years, 9 months and 10 days. He came to this city in 1853 and for thirty-eight years had been a faithful employe of the Pennsylvania railroad company. There are left to mourn their loss his wife, three sons and two daughters - one of the sons residing in Huntingdon, W.Va. He also leaves four brothers and two sisters - one brother residing in this city and three, together with a sister, living in Philadelphia. The funeral will take place at 2 o'clock on Wednesday afternoon from his late residence. Interment in Fairview cemetery. Morning Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Tuesday, January 6, 1891 Local Brevities. The funeral of the late Price M. Johnson will take place at 2 o'clock this afternoon from his residence, 921 Eighth avenue. The services will be conducted by Rev. Arthur W. Spooner, of the Second Presbyterian church. The deceased was a charter member of Logan lodge Knights of Pythias and was born in Chester county. The interment will be made in Fairview cemetery.
