Johnson died on Sunday morning at 7 o'clock at his home, 1210 1/2 Third street, after an illness of five months. He was a boilermaker and had worked for the Pennsy since he was 16 years old in that capacity. He was born Dec. 11, 1865, at Mifflin, Juniata county. Mr. Johnson was a member of Christ Reformed church and the Pennsy relief. Surviving are his wife and one son, Warren, one sister, Mrs. Harry Rupp, and one brother, William, all of this city. Funeral services will be held at the home this afternoon at 3 o'clock. Interment in Rose Hill cemetery. Altoona Times, Altoona, Pa., Tuesday Morning, November 19, 1918
