WILLIAM JOHNSON.

  William Johnson, aged 32, of Baltimore, Md., one of a number of 
colored men imported into this section by the Pennsy in order to 
augment their labor forces, died at the Altoona hospital, at an early 
hour this morning, from pneumonia.  He was admitted to the institution 
February 15, and is survived by a mother, Mrs. Sara Johnson, of 
Baltimore.  Johnson resided at the Merchant's hotel.  Funeral 
arrangements are not as yet completed.
