MRS. ELLA JOHNSTON 

  Mrs. Ella Johnston, a guest at the Methodist Home since March 8, 
1955, died there yesterday noon, after an extended illness.
  She was born in Upper Lehigh, July 31, 1874, the daughter of James C. 
and Lucy Fritz Brookmyer. 
  She is survived by a nephew, William R. Jones, of Warminster.
  She was a member St. Paul's Methodist Church, Hazelton.  After a 
funeral service at the Methodist Home Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., conducted 
by the Rev. Elvin Clay Myers, superintendent, burial will be in the 
Vine Street Cemetery, Hazelton.  Arrangements are in charge of the 
Johnson Funeral Home.
