Johnston, died at her home, 917 Fifty-eighth street, Eldorado, at 8.07 o'clock last night, of uremic poisoning. She had been in ill health for some time and last Thursday suffered a stroke from which she rallied only a brief time. Members of her immediate family and two sisters were at her bedside. She was born in Altoona, Dec. 7, 1876, a daughter of Charles L. and Eliza Delores Fettinger. Her father was prominent in the organization of the Altoona Volunteer Fire company and was formerly a member of the old common council of the city. Surviving are her husband, three daughters and one son, Daisy B. and Edith P. Johnston, at home, Mrs. H. Elton Sweet of this city and Charles F. Johnston of Lakemont; two sisters, Mrs. J. S. Scardefield of Pittsburgh and Mrs. H. W. Benton of Hartford, Conn.; two brothers, Harry O. Fettinger of Roselle, N.J., and Edgar Allen Fettinger, of this city, and four grandchildren. Mrs. Johnston was an active member of the Fifty-eighth Street Methodist church, devoted to her home and family in which she took great pride and a devout Christian woman. Funeral services will be held in the Fifty-eighth Street Methodist church on Thursday afternoon.
