(Drake) Jones, 74, of Tyrone, went home to be with the Lord Friday, Feb. 27, 2004 at 11:35 a.m. at Tyrone Hospital. She was born Sept. 15, 1929 in Northwood, a daughter of Harriet (Drake) Detwiler and a step-daughter of Ralph J. Detwiler. She was twice married: to William F. Ritchey and Elisha J. Jones Jr., both of whom preceded her in death. Surviving are two daughters, Sharon Isenberg and her husband Kenny of Tyrone and Rosalie Trabbold (wife of the late Gill Trabbold) of Tyrone; two sons, William S. Ritchey and his wife Rachel of Tyrone and John T. Ritchey of Alexandria, Virginia; seven grandchildren; and 13 great- grandchildren. Also, a step-daughter, Jacqueline Purma and a step-son, Matthew B. Jones, both of California; several step-grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Bytnar and husband Tony of Ohio and Mary Ann Fagley of Indiana; and six brothers, Lewis Stanley Drake and his wife Mary of Niagra Falls, NY, Carlton Detwiler and his wife Sandy of Valpariaso, Fla., Warren Detwiler and his wife Polly of Roaring Spring, Robert Detwiler and his wife Darlene, Ronald Detwiler of Sinking Valley and Raymond Detwiler and his wife Rita of Tyrone; and a foster sister, Adeline Woodring of Altoona. She was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Markle, and a brother, Ralph J. Detwiler Jr. Mrs. Jones was a member of God's Missionary Church, Alexandria, and past president and secretary of the Steelworker's Union. She retired in 1985 from Proctor Silex, Bellemeade as a quality control inspector following 18 years service. Mrs. Jones was a resident of Tyrone Colonial Courtyard since August 1999 and briefly at Epworth Manor of Tyrone. Funeral services were held today, March 1, 2004 at 1 p.m. at Feller Memorial Home in Tyrone with Rev. Alvin Shaffer officiating. Interment followed at Blair Memorial Park. Memorial gifts in Tillie E.
