KAHLBAUM Of 1019 Fifth avenue, died at his home at 7.15 o'clock this morning of a heart ailment after having been ill for some time. He was born at Carrolltown on July 6, 1869, and had been a resident of Altoona for the past thirty years, engaging in business here. His wife, Mrs. May (Reffner) Kahlbaum, died a number of years ago. Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Albert Degenhart of Washington, D.C., Mrs. Andrew Steckler and Mrs. Andrew Auer of the city and Mrs. Joseph Roddy of Hollidaysburg. Mr. Kahlbaum was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church, the Frohsinn, Concordia and Bavarian societies, the Eagles and the Road Drivers association. The funeral will be held at St. Mary's church with requiem mass at 9 o'clock Saturday morning. Interment will be made in Greenwood cemetery.
