DEATHS OF A DAY

JOSEPH KAMEL.

Joseph Kamel, a laborer employed in the Altoona car shops, died at 5
o'clock yesterday morning at the Altoona hospital, of mastoid abscess.
He was born in Germany twenty-eight years ago and had resided in this
city two years.  He was a member of St. Mary's German Catholic church
and the Pennsylvania Railroad Relief association.  His mother and two
sisters reside in Germany.  The funeral will be held from the home of
John Renbeck, 1516 Bell avenue, on Monday morning at 9 o'clock, with
services in St. Mary's  church and interment in the church cemetery.
