MRS. AUGUSTUS KANE

  At her home in Fairmont, Va., Mrs. Augustus Kane died Sunday night of 
influenza-pneumonia, after a brief illness.  Mrs. Kane was Miss 
Margaret Schwenk, born and reared in Bellwood and mourned by a circle 
of friends here as well as at the home of her married life.  Her 
husband survives, with four children; also her father, George Schwenck, 
and three sisters, Miss Katharine Schenck [sic] and Miss May, of 
Bellwood; Mrs. Barbara Johnson, of Bristol, N.J.  Mr. Schwenck and his 
daughters are at Fairmont.
