KANE Died this morning at 9.40 o'clock at her home, 2407 Fifth avenue, aged 82 years, 4 months and 11 days. She was born June 22, 1846, in Antis township, a daughter of James and Margaret Colyer, deceased. Since May 11, she had been a patient sufferer, having fallen at her home, fracturing her hip on that date. For sixty-two years she was a faithful member of the Church of the Brethren, having been united with the church at Warriors Mark. For many years her membership was held in the First Church of the Brethren in this city but, because of ill health, she had been attending the Twenty-eighth Street church for the past two years. In 1862 she was united in marriage with Thomas Kane, deceased. One daughter preceded her to the grave and the following children survive: Clark L. Kane, James C. Kane, John T. Kane and Mrs. Mary C. Hostler, all of this city. Eleven grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren survive also. She was the last of her immediate family. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock in the First Church of the Brethren, Sixth avenue and Fifth street, with Rev. B. F. Waltz and Rev. W. S. Long, her former pastors, in charge. Interment will be made in Rose Hill cemetery.
