KANTNER At the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Low, 323 Lexington avenue, John H. Kantner died of apoplexy, at 7 o'clock Sunday morning. Mr. Kantner was born Feb. 7, 1844, a son of Michael and Hannah Empfield Kantner. All his life he resided in Altoona. For a number of years he was a Pittsburg division conductor. He was twice married, first to Miss Sarah Marshall and later to Miss Ellen Stover. Surviving are two daughters and two sons: Mrs. Albert Poole, of Boston, Mass.; Mrs. Low, at whose home he died; Asbury Kantner, of Duncansville; Edward Kantner, of Lakemont. Mr. Kantner was a private in Company A, 205th Pennsylvania Volunteer infantry. He was a member of the First Mennonite church, 2500 Fourth avenue, where funeral services will be held at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon. Interment in Fairview cemetery. The Rev. J. N.
