Martin Kantner, who has been lying ill at his mother's residence, on Eighth avenue, between Eighteenth and Nineteenth streets, died of his injuries yesterday. It will be remembered that several months since Mr. Kantner, who was a freight conductor, was squeezed between two cars and badly injured. Ever since that time he has been sick. He was a young single man and very well liked by his many associates. Morning Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Saturday, May 1, 1880 Died. KANTNER - In this city, on April 29, M. L. Kantner, aged 32 years and 7 months. The funeral will take place from his mother's residence, Eighth avenue, between Eighteenth and Nineteenth streets, this (Saturday) afternoon at 2 o'clock.
