KAPHAMMER.

  Anton Kaphammer of 409 First avenue died late Wednesday night at the 
Mercy hospital, death being caused by a complication of disease from 
which he had suffered for some time.  He was aged 28 and was married, 
being survived by his wife and one child, Anthony.  He was a member of 
St. Mary's German Catholic church, the St. Joseph's society, the 
Bavarian society and the Pennsy relief.  The funeral will be held on 
Saturday morning at 9 o'clock, with mass at the St. Mary's church.
