Karns of 211 South Hagerty street, died at 1.15 o'clock this morning at the Altoona hospital. She was born on March 20, 1884, at Clover Creek, a daughter of Henry G. and Mary J. Fouse. Surviving are her husband, seven children, Mrs. Elizabeth Galbraith, Mrs. Beatrice Messner, Mrs. Ethel Hild, Mrs. Winifred Julius, Mrs. Ora Haner of Waynesboro, James A. Karns, of Akron, O., and Miss Mary of Easton, and five brothers and sisters, David M. Fouse, Mrs. Ora Nicodemus, Frank A. Fouse of Lehighton, Fred H. Fouse of Huntingdon and Mrs. Ella Betlor of Washington, D.C. Mrs. Karns was a lifelong member of the Trinity Evangelical and Reformed church and Sunday school and a member of Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America, Jobel court, No. 11. Friends are being received at the home. KARNS - Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Eudora Karns, of 211 South Hagerty street, will be held at 3.30 o'clock Friday afternoon in Trinity Evangelical and Reformed church by Rev. Howard F. Boyer.
