BOTH VICTIMS OF ACCIDENTS The Former Was Crushed Between Two Cars and the Latter Died from Effects of Burns. THE ACCIDENT LIST A LARGE ONE BURNS HAVE FATAL TERMINATION. Charles Kash, the young man who was badly burned Tuesday evening as the result of a Hungarian throwing a bucket of gasoline onto the boiler of a steam shovel in mistake for water, died at the hospital at 2.05 yesterday afternoon. He seemed in good condition during the morning, but at noon became worse and sank rapidly until death ended his sufferings. The unfortunate young man was aged 17 years and a resident of Bellwood, where his family resides. The body was taken to his home and will be laid to rest Friday. Coronel McCartney is making an investigation and will likely hold an inquest. Altoona Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Thursday, July 3, 1902, page 5 BELLWOOD BRIEFS.
