JACOB S. KAUP 
 
  Jacob S. Kaup, former resident of Tyrone, died at his home in 
Chicago, Illinois, on Wednesday, following a heart attack.  
  Mr. Kaup was a son of Jacob S. and Mary Ellen (Dry) Kaup and, was 
born in Tyrone on February 29, 1876.  His wife, Mary Abbott, formerly 
of Pittsburgh, died a year ago. 
  He is survived by two sons Robert and Jack, both of Chicago; also two 
brothers and three sisters, as follows: Foster Kaup, Tyrone; Wilbur 
Kaup, San Gabliel [sic], California; and Mrs. Jack McKinney and Miss 
Sarah Kaup, of Tyrone; and Mrs. C. L. Sosenheimer, of Cleveland, Ohio. 
  Mr. Kaup had been a resident of Chicago for the past 30 years.
  Funeral services will be held in Chicago on Saturday afternoon at two 
o'clock.
