Martinsburg, March 30. - On Monday night, at 11 o'clock, Mrs. Elizabeth Keagy, widow of the late Jacob L. Keagy, in his day one of the best known and most successful merchants in Martinsburg, died at the home of Miss Lizzie Kauffman, on South Market street, Martinsburg, aged 12 years and 27 days. Her husband died ten years ago. After his death she lived alone for five years, since which time she made her home with Miss Kauffman. Mrs. Keagy was a daughter of John and Barbara Stoner Brenneman and was born in Woodbury township, March 2. 1843. She had one brother who died in early life. For many years she was a member of the Church of God. The funeral services will be held at the house Thursday morning at 10 o'clock, to be conducted by her pastor, Rev. A. G. Herr.
