MRS. VIRGINIA E. KEARNS

Of 1101 Twentieth avenue, died of a heart attack at 9.45 o'clock last 
evening.  She was born in Wells Valley, Franklin county, on Feb. 1, 
1869, a daughter of Adam and Elizabeth Figart Hild.  Surviving are her 
husband, Elmer B. Kearns; one son, Harry D. Kearns of Altoona; one 
sister, Mrs. Frank Ruff of Jeannette; one brother, Walter D. Hild of 
East McKeesport; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  She 
was a member of the First Presbyterian church.  Friends will be 
received at the Hickey funeral home after 7 o'clock tonight.

KEARNS - Funeral services for Mrs. Virginia E. Kearns, 1101 Twentieth 
avenue, will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Hickey funeral home in charge of 
Dr. Walter L. Ritter.  Interment in Alto-Reste burial park.  Friends 
are being received at Hickey funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
