CHAPTER OF ACCIDENTS.

  Information was received in Altoona Monday evening to the effect 
that Mr. John Keech, aged about 45 years and by occupation a conductor
on the railroad had been killed about 6 o'clock in the Columbia yard.
The deceased formerly resided in this city and is a married man.  He is
a son-in-law of Mr. William Keyes, of Utahville, Clearfield county and
a brother-in-law of Mr. Henry foreman, of No. 1016 Sixteenth avenue
this city.  Beside his wife Mr. Keech leaves one daughter who resides
in Erie.
