MATILDA D. KEISTER.

  At 7.25 o'clock yesterday morning Matilda D. Keister, wife of Samuel 
Keister died at her home, 1423 Fifth avenue of dropsy and paralysis.  
Deceased was born at Bell's Forge, April 7, 1835, and has resided in 
this county all her life.  She was a member of the Second Presbyterian 
church and was much esteemed by all who knew her.  Besides her husband 
she is survived by these children: Mrs. Cora J. Krause, Mrs. Elizabeth 
Fay, Mrs. Annie Woomer, Retta C. and Tillie, of this city; Daniel, of 
Harrisburg, and W. W., of Pittsburg; also one brother, David Haines, of 
Bellefonte, and a sister, Miss Mattie Haines, of this city.  The 
funeral will take place Saturday afternoon, services to be conducted at 
2 o'clock by Rev. Henry Howard Stiles.  Interment in Fairview cemetery.
