After a week's illness and intense suffering from inflammation of the stomach and entire intestinal tract, Mrs. Catharine Stella Kelley, youngest daughter of Thomas and Marcella Fagan, of this city, died on Tuesday morning at the residence of her sister, Mrs. George Otto, No. 1022 Sixth avenue, aged 21 years, 2 months and 9 days. James Fagan, of Zions, Warren county; John A. Fagan, of Chartiers, Allegheny county; Minnie, wife of W. J. Heckert, of Allegheny, and Bertha A., wife of George A. Otto; Maggie G., wife of Frank Crawford; Edward, Charles and Philip Fagan, all of this city, are surviving members of the family who are left to mourn the untimely death of a loved sister whose young life has been brought to a close when her earthly hopes were brightest, her faculties at their freshest, her days full of vigor and her sun yet far from its meridian. The body will be taken by the early train on Thursday morning to Ebensburg, where the funeral services are to be held and interment will be made. Rest comes at last, oh weary heart, Fevered and fainting, racked with care, And toiling 'neath thy earthly cross Too great for mortal strength to bear. Take courage, faint heart, but endure, Soon shalt thou say the day is past, At eventide the end shall come And bring the quiet rest at last. Morning Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Wednesday, November 12, 1890
