He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Kelly of Philadelphia and was born in Altoona, Oct. 5, 1891, and was employed in the flue shop of the Pennsy. Surviving are the parents, both in Philadelphia, his wife, who was formerly Miss Mabel Yingling, and two sons, James and Robert, both at home, and a sister, Mrs. McGarvey of Trafford, Pa. The remains were taken to the residence of the father-in-law, G. W. Yingling of 1005 Eighth avenue. The funeral will be held tomorrow morning with mass at the Sacred Heart church at 10 o'clock. Interment will be made in St. John's cemetery. Mr. Kelly was prominent in athletics in the city and won a number of prizes as a distance runner.
