She was born in Altoona, Dec. 20, 1886, a daughter of William and Harriet Dora (Weaver) Kemp. Surviving are one sister, Miss Gertrude Kemp, at home; two brothers, Frank L. Kemp of Llyswen and John L. Kemp of Erie. Miss Kemp had been employed as a bookkeeper for the General Builders Supply company for twenty-one years. She was a member of the First Lutheran church, the O. C. Roth Bible class, the Ruth Robinson Missionary society, the Women's League of Gettysburg college, Ladies' auxiliary of the Y.M.C.A., Altoona chapter, No. 290, Order of Eastern Star. Friends are being received at the home, 2000 West Chestnut avenue, any time today, and tomorrow at the Laughlin funeral home. KEMP - Funeral services for Miss Stella May Kemp, of 2000 West Chestnut avenue, will be held from the Laughlin funeral home Tuesday afternoon at 3.15 o'clock in charge of Rev. Luke Rhodes.
