Dr. Charles Kennedy died at his home on West Allegheny street at 2.30 o'clock Sunday night after a two days' illness from pneumonia. Deceased studied medicine at Bellevue college, New York, and graduated therefrom in 1875. He practiced medicine in Bellevue hospital for several years and then located in Ebensburg, Pa., where he practiced for twelve years. He removed to Johnstown and resided at that place for five years. In the summer of 1899 he came to Hollidaysburg where he has since resided. He is survived by his wife and one sister, Miss Lucretia Kennedy, of Hollidaysburg. He was a member of Mountain lodge No. 281, Free and Accepted Masons, of Altoona. Funeral services will be held at his late home this evening at 7.30 o'clock. The interment will be made in the Presbyterian cemetery to-morrow morning and will be private. Morning Tribune, Tuesday, February 13, 1900 HOLLIDAYSBURG HAPPENINGS. The funeral services of the late Dr. Charles Kennedy were held on Tuesday evening, and were conducted by Ref. Dr. D. H. Barron, pastor of the First Presbyterian church. The remains were interred in the Presbyterian cemetery yesterday morning. Among the relatives here from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. J. B. McIntire and Miss Annie Wood, of Pittsburg.
