Kennedy, of East Tyrone, was killed at Curwensville yesterday. He was a brakeman on the Buffalo, Rochester and Pittsburgh Railroad, having a run between Punxsutawney and Clearfield. The particulars of the accident which resulted in the young man's death are not yet known here, except that he slipped and fell under his train, which crushed the life out of him. He was about 22 years old. Mr. Kennedy went to Curwensville today and will bring the remains home for burial. Tyrone Daily Herald, Tyrone, Pa., January 28, 1901
