Kennedy passed away at the hour [home] of her daughter, Mrs. J. B. Rogers, 1003 Eighteenth avenue, death being due to a complication of diseases. She was born at Newville, Cumberland county. February 9, 1845, and came to Altoona in 1873. She was united in marriage to William L. Kennedy (now deceased) on November 4, 1868. One daughter, Mrs. Rogers, and a son, Bruce D., both of this city survive. One brother, George Dunlap, and four grandchildren also survive. Deceased was a consistent member of First Presbyterian church. Funeral services will be conducted at her home Monday morning at 10:30. Interment in Rose Hill cemetery.
