Kensinger, 85, of Bellwood, formerly of Tipton, died Wednesday afternoon, February 28, 2007 at the home of her daughter. She was born August 16, 1921 in Tipton, a daughter of the late Harry R. and Tressa E. (Snyder) Gwin. She married Joseph E. Kensinger on July 5, 1943 in Cumberland, Md. He died March 1, 1968. Surviving are sons: Richard J. and wife, Virginia of Bellwood and Harry G. of Tipton; daughter, Susan E. Kensinger of Bellwood; six grandchildren: James Baughman, Jr., Richard J. Jr., Karen A., Pamela L., Michael F and Lori M. Kensinger; seven great-grandchildren; brothers: Harry S. Gwin of Martinsburg and Bruce R. Gwin of Canoe Creek; sister, Ruth E. Dilling of North Ft. Myers, Fl; aunt, Sara Weber of Virginia; several nieces and nephews; lifelong friend Helen Henshey and also by her cat Minnie Pearl. She was preceded in death by a sister, Sara E. Mrs. Kensinger retired in 1987 as Antis Township Tax Collector after 19 years of service. She was a member of Tipton United Methodist Church. Anna was a member of the first graduating class of Bellwood-Antis High School in 1939. She was a former member of the Logan Valley Grange, Bellwood and a 50 year member of Order of the Eastern Star. Anna enjoyed reading, crossword and jigsaw puzzles and collecting drummer boys. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 4 and 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, March 5 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Bellwood. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2007 at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Robert Ludrowsky officiating. Interment at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township. Remembrances may be made to Tipton United Methodist Church, Tipton, Pa. Tyrone Daily Herald, March 3, 2007
