KERLIN Well Known Contract Plasterer Died at Twentieth Street Home Lemuel D. Kerlin, a resident of Tyrone for more than thirty years, died at his home, 505 Twentieth Street, Sunday morning at 3.45 o'clock, following an illness of thirteen weeks with a complication of diseases. Mr. Kerlin was a well known contract plasterer and did an extensive business here. The death of his wife last year had much to do with Mr. Kerlin's failing health, as they were thoroughly devoted one to another. Mr. Kerlin was born at Fort Littleton, Fulton county, November 11, 1858, and was a son of the late Jonathan and Mary Elizabeth Kerlin. On November 11, 1885, he was married to Clara Belle Bressler, who died Feb. 24, 1927. Surviving are these sons and daughters: Mrs. Lulu Keys, Harry and Charles Kerlin, Mrs. Blanche Nearhoof, Mrs. Ida Wilson, Mrs. Helen Hovener, Tyrone, William Kerlin, Altoona, Mrs. Edith Snyder, Jersey Shore; also thirty-five grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters; Mrs. Priscilla Stewart, Altoona; Mrs. Margaret Long, Hagerstown, Md.; Dr. Eugene Kerlin, Collingwood, Ohio; John Kerlin, Altoona; Enoch Kerlin, Knobsville; Frank Kerlin, North Braddock, Ira Kerlin, Knobsville; Irvin Kerlin, Fort Littleton. He was a member of the Columbia Avenue Methodist church. Funeral services will be held at the home on Wednesday afternoon at 2.30 conducted by the Rev. George A. Duvall.
