SINKING VALLEY ITEMS.

  Mrs. Kerr died at her home in Skelp last Sunday night at 11 o'clock.  
She had been suffering from dropsy for a long time.  Her husband, 
Alexander Kerr, a school teacher in this valley, died many years ago.  
She with her daughter lived in the home of the deceased several years.  
The aged lady was past 68 years old.  She had been a member of the 
Baptist church.  She will be buried in the Lutheran cemetery; the 
funeral will take place on Tuesday at 2 o'clock.  Rev. Fitzwilliams, of 
Tyrone, will attend the funeral.  Thus death has again entered the 
community, ever teaching us the solemn lessons of all things earthly.
