JOHN KESSLER,

Aged 43 years, who was an employe of the Juniata paint shop, and whose 
home was at 313 Fourth street, died suddenly of lung trouble last night 
at 11:30 o'clock.  He had retired to his bed a little earlier in the 
evening in his usual good health.  Being affected with a cough he 
called to his wife to get him something for it, and when she started to 
do so he followed her down to the lower part of the building, seated 
himself on a chair and expired in a few minutes.  Medical assistance 
was summoned but Mr. Kessler was beyond human aid.  The remains will be 
taken to Mifflin for interment Friday morning.
