EDGAR H. KEYS SR. 

  Mr. Edgar H. Keys Sr., age 89, of 951 Washington Avenue, Epworth 
Manor, Tyrone, died Monday, Feb. 7, 2005 at 9:30 p.m. at the Manor. He 
was born Jan. 14, 1916 in Tyrone, the son of Andrew L. and Lulu Kerlin 
Keys.
  On Dec. 17, 1949 at the Columbia Avenue Methodist Church he was 
married by Reverend Dennis Smith to Sara E. Wiser who preceded him in 
death on Jan. 15, 1994. 
  He is survived by a son, Edgar H. Keys, Jr. and wife Susan of R.D. 1, 
Tyrone; two sisters: Gaynall Walker and husband Mike of Hagerstown, MD 
and Esther Goss of Bellwood. He was preceded in death by two brothers 
and two sisters.
  Mr. Keys was a member of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church 
and attended the First Assembly of God Church. He was a member of 
Anderson Denny Post #4559, V.F.W.
  He had been employed as a roll finisher at Westvaco retiring in 1980 
after 39 years of service. He was a veteran of World War II, serving 
with the 98th Combat Bombardment Wing in Europe.
  Funeral service for Mr. Keys will be Friday, Feb. 11, 2005 at 11 a.m. 
at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Inc. with Pastor William Glunt 
officiating. Private interment will be made at the convenience of the 
family in Blair Memorial Park.
  Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and 
on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
  Contributions in his memory may be made to the First Assembly of God 
Building Fund, P.O. Box 1, Tyrone, PA 16686.
