RECENT DEATHS.
Edwin H. Killheffer, a Respected Citizen of Altoona, Passes Away.

  Mr. Edwin H. Killheffer, a well known musician of this city, died at 
2 o'clock on Tuesday morning at his residence, No. 1805 Fifth avenue.  
He had only been sick for five days and his illness was not thought to 
be as serious as it really was.  Deceased was aged 28 years.  He came 
to this city about six years ago and was employed by the company as a 
moulder.  He was generally liked by his fellow workmen and had a large 
circle of friends who were shocked to hear of his sudden death.  He had 
been a cornetist at the Eighth avenue Sunday school for some time past 
and his presence there will be greatly missed.  He is survived by his 
young wife, to whom he was married a little over a year ago.
