Kinch Mrs. Mary Maude Kinch, wife of David C. Kinch, of Sinking valley, died at 4:15 a.m. Sunday at the home, near the Brick church. Mrs. Kinch retired Saturday night in apparent good health, but during the night members of the family noticed her labored respiration. Before medical attention could be summoned she had passed away, death being due to heart trouble. She was a daughter of the late William and Keziah Fleck Sprankle and was born January 19, 1866. Practically all her life had been spent in Sinking valley. Her husband was a prominent farmer of that section. She is survived by her husband and the following children: Mrs. Blanche Olive White, of Altoona; Elmer B., at home; John L., of Juniata; W. S., of Johnstown; David V., of Altoona; also by three sisters and one brother: Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Gilbert, of Williamsburg; Mrs. Royer, of Llyswen, and William, of Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning in the Sinking Valley Lutheran church in charge of Rev. M. J. Ross. Interment in Rose Hill cemetery, Altoona.
