DOROTHY N. KING Of 317 Second avenue, widow of Samuel D. King, died at her home at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon of a heart ailment after a brief illness. She was born on Feb. 28, 1866, at Roxbury, Huntingdon county, a daughter of James G. and Rebecca (Ham) Corbin. Her husband died in August 1928. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Winifred Harnish, two grandchildren, Philip and Dorothy Harnish, all at home, one sister and two brothers, Mrs. Katherine C. Land of Seattle, Wash., J. B. Corbin of Juniata and C. W. Corbin of Canton, O. Mrs. King was a member of the Lutheran faith and was prominent in library work. She formerly served as president of the Women's Christian Temperance Union and a member of the Sunshine society. Funeral services will be held at the home at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon. Interment will be made in Rose Hill cemetery. The body may be viewed at the home after 6 o'clock this evening. Altoona Mirror, August 10, 1934
