MARY KING Wife of Hezekiah King, died at 1201 this morning at the residence of her husband, Union avenue and twenty-seventh street, of heart disease. The deceased was born in Hollidaysburg May 31, 1837. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church also of the Ladies Circle No. 8 of the G. A. R. Besides her husband she is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Dollie Coleman, two brothers, Finley Thompson of Hollidaysburg and Edward Thompson. The funeral announcement will be given later. Altoona Mirror, Altoona, Pa., January 2, 1907 FUNERAL NOTICE The funeral of Mrs. Mary King will take place Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Samuel Coleman, 2616 Eighth avenue. The service will be conducted by her pastor, Rev. R. H. Straub, of the Simpson Methodist Episcopal church. Interment will be in Rosehill cemetery. Thompson b. 2 Feb 1841 d. 21 May 1889. Her husband Hezekiah was operator of the Gladstone Hotel 1719 Eleventh Avenue, Altoona. Their children were Thomas W. T. King and Dollie (King) Coleman, i.e. Mrs. Samuel Coleman. Contributor is descended from William Finley Thompson.
