Mr. Kingston was employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad during World War II, and as an automobile mechanic at Rupert Chevrolet, Tyrone. He operated the Kingston Service Station, Tyrone for 12 years and retired as Tyrone Borough Highway Equipment Mechanic in 1972[?] after 12 years service. He was associated with Derman Funeral Home from 1977-1987. He was born November 10, 1907, in Tyrone, a son of Robert John and Nellie B. (Bonsell) Kingston. On June 16, 1941, at Ebensburg, Pa., he married Madeline G. Grimm. He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Barbara) Sampson, Tarrytown, N.Y. He was of the Presbyterian faith, was a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America, and past president of the Allegheny Mountain Region Antique Auto Club. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 29, 1992, at 11 am. at the Derman Funeral Home, Inc. with the Reverend Charles J. Swenson officiating. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood, Pa. Friends will be received at the funeral home Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. today and from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, at the Derman Funeral Home.
