Death of James Kinney - An Afflicted Family. James Kinney, a young man 23 years of age, son of Councilman Thomas Kinney, died at 6 o'clock on Monday morning with that terrible plague scarlet fever. The deceased was a young man who had many friends. About one year ago he went to Meadville and not meeting with success returned home last October. A sister of the deceased is dangerously ill with the same disease. The mother and another sister are also sick. The father, Mr. Thomas Kinney, met with a severe accident a few weeks ago while working in the Keenan stone quarry, which required the amputation of the right arm, after which gangrene set in, and he has been suffering greatly since with no little or favorable symptoms. Mr. Kinney is one of our best citizens - a man of more than ordinary intelligence and education, and should receive the substantial sympathy of every good citizen in his sad affliction.
