KIRK

  Miss Ethel Mae Kirk, an erstwhile resident of this city, died at the 
Lock Haven hospital, at 12:45 o'clock yesterday afternoon of pneumonia, 
following an attack of Spanish influenza, after an illness of eleven 
days' duration.  Miss Kirk was born at East Waterford, Juniata county, 
21 years ago, and for a number of years resided in this city.  While 
here, she made a host of friends who will learn of her demise with 
great sorrow.  Her father is dead, but her mother still resides at East 
Waterford, where the body will likely be taken for interment at a time 
to be announced later.
