PAUL ROBERT KLIEM 

  Paul Robert Kliem, 83, of the Colonial Courtyard, Tyrone, died at 
8:35 p.m., Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at Beverly Health Care, Hillview, 
Altoona.
  He was born Feb. 18, 1922 at Sandy Ridge, Pa., a son of Frank J. and 
Dessie (Wiser) Kliem.
  He is survived by a sister Martha K. Shirk of RD 3, Tyrone; niece, 
Della Harris and her husband Albert of RD 3, Tyrone; niece, Ellen Shirk 
of Altoona and a grand nephew, Matthew Shirk.
  He was preceded in death by six brothers and one sister.
  He was an Army Veteran of WW II, worked on the Pennsylvania Railroad 
for seven years, was a woodsman and a truck driver for Haggs 
Construction and Taylor Township.
  Funeral services will be held Friday, April 1, 2005 at 11 a.m. at the 
Derman Funeral Home, Inc., Tyrone with Pastor Mike Baney officiating. 
Interment will be at Bald Eagle Cemetery.
  Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 7 to 9 
p.m.
